Penn Manor Residence

Year Completed: 2021

County: Lancaster

The homeowners of this 1957 house wanted to remodel the kitchen and master bathroom along with multiple renovations throughout the home. The expanded kitchen footprint achieved the desired use of the kitchen, and created a more open first floor connecting the kitchen directly to adjacent living space. All aspects of these custom oak cabinets were designed with great input from the homeowners. Everything from the custom stain color to the individual uses of each cabinet were closely coordinated. An existing dividing wall between the kitchen and the foyer was slightly altered and cladded with bamboo.  The existing master bathroom was gutted, and the footprint was expanded, creating a unique layout with custom features throughout the space. For the final phase of the project, a full wall of new custom cabinetry was installed in the dining room, a new set of custom railings were added, and a new fireplac,e a new exterior door and sliding glass dividers were installed, completing the fresh new home interior.
